DESCRIPTION:Massasauga drummer Katie Plath who is an Ambassador Girl Scout is organizing a fundraiser concert to raise money for her Gold Award which is to build a Nature Play Zone for Save the Dunes at their headquarters at the Barker House in Michigan City. Co-headlining are our friends Mantra of Morta\, an internationally known metal band donating their time and talent. \n\nDoors at 4:30 pm\, show beginning at 5:00 pm.\nTickets are available online and physical tickets are available too!\n\nAll proceeds will go towards Katie’s Gold Award and donations are tax deductible. There will be a silent auction and sponsorship opportunities in addition to the concert. DESCRIPTION:Our annual tapping & canned release of “26” is set for Thursday\, July 23rd\, at the brewery! $1 from each draft pint sold from 4pm to Close will go to the Play For Jake Foundation. 26 is a refreshingly creamy Wheat Ale brewed w/milk sugar & finished w/orange juice and vanilla beans. A collaboration with The Collective & Play for Jake Foundation. Founded in 2013 by Julie West after the loss of her son\, The Play For Jake Foundation is dedicated to the prevention of sudden cardiac arrest in youth. Special thanks to Be Good Juicerie for donating their time hand squeezing the orange juice for this batch! The release precedes the July 25th “Play For Jake 5k Run/Walk” at Fox Memorial Park in Laporte\, IN during the City of LaPorte Lake Fest! 26 will be available in cans at the event.
